Is this an emergency bug? (DID NOT ANSWER QUESTION)

Please provide details of the error you are seeing. discord association failure (despite being in the server and being marked as member) plus "insufficient privileges" to comment on threads, but ability to make PMs. Had the ability to do so before the migration, even had a thread posted to do so, but now it's not recognized.

Where were you on the site when this issue occurred? RT tabs + connected account tab under profile

With this being two separate issues - I need to make sure I'm getting everything straight here.

Is that discord function screenshot showing when you click the 'join the discord server' button on the page, or when you are in the preferences area?

Regarding the second problem/image - we are moving to a bumping system to ensure users are keeping up with our new 3-day bumping tool - the posting replies function has been updated to allow users to edit their first post, but that they should be using the bump option to bring their post up in the threads.

At the top of your thread, you should see that button that says 'bump thread'. Clicking that will move your thread to the top of the list.

Does that make sense?
 
Hi, sorry for getting back so late- was sleeping.
As for the discord topic, this is specifically tied to the "Connected Accounts" option when you click the profile tab.

I sign in as prompted, and I'm met with that error. It was something I had done prior to the sight originally trying to upgrade before discovering the needed migration to fit the accomodations, but now it seems to come up with an error or invalidation when I try.
I have no idea if it's related to the fact I'm in the discord and verifoed as a member there, which is why I mentioned it—in hindsight, it was a bit confusing to word in a way like that.

As for the RT bumping, I think I get it? All actual commenting from other members on another person's thread has been specifically allowed on the Roleplay Heaven threads as to not consistent bump a person's RT repeatedly a day with comments, yes? If that's the case, that makes sense. I also now see the bump thread button on my end!

You are correct in that it may be having this issue because of your being in the discord already.
Could you leave the discord and attempt to connect your account again?

And that is correct - Replies are available in the haven area to facilitate writing, but in the request thread, there really isn't a reason to need to post on other individuals RTs - I've also added an option in the RT thread options to note if you as a searcher prefer to be contacted via DM or Thread in the OoC area - where there are also no limits on replying.

That button will appear every 3 days to keep with site rules!
