Hello Everyone, it's a pleasure to meet you all. My name is JerTheBear, and I'm 26 years old and live on the west coast.

I love writing, though its mostly for D&D notes. I love Role-playing at the table and have been for about 8 years now. Though, I've only really done online Role-playing sporadically. So if I make any mistakes, I'm sorry and will try to do better. I love cooperative storytelling and working with others to make awesome stuff. I like to consider myself an "ok" writer, but I love it, and want to learn more. I will try to post at least Once a day, though if I'm absent for a day or two I'll try to let you know ahead of time.

I love all kinds of genres, though I'm perifacial to; Fantasy, Soft Sci-Fi, and Romance. I really like stories that include; opposites attracting, characters acting like big dorks in how they flirt, morally grey situation, detailed fight scenes, fleshed out characters, and Intrigue. Basically, the stuff you would find in a lot of Brandon Sanderson's Novels, as he is my favorite author. I don't might writing whatever kind of romance, whether it is MxF, MxM, FxF, all is chill with me. Though i tend to write more MxF romances overall.

I dont have any particular fandoms im devoted to, but I do like: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Dark Crystal, Dragon Age, Stormlight Archive, Wheel of Time, X-Com, Warhammer (Old Fantasy & 40k), Warcraft, Starcraft, Persona (5 in particular), The Witcher (Both books and Games), Thieves World, and Vampire the Masquerade.

Anyways, I'm excited to find some RP's, and learn new things along the way with cool people. Hope you all have a great day! :)

Reading your introduction, I felt like I was looking into a mirror, or even a future version of myself. Holy shit. I hope to see you write a lot on here!

Awesome! It's cool to find someone with similar taste on here. :)

Edit: Have you read any of Brandon Sanderson's books, out of curiosity?

No, I have not yet, but I've read a lot of Robin Hobb and Neil Gaiman. Google tells me they're similar, haha. Which book did you enjoy the most by Sanderson?

I have to say The Stormlight Archive series (Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, and Oathbringer) It really is a unique high fantasy setting, with believable characters, a world that makes sense and a really well though out magic system. Book 4 comes out next year, and I'm hyped. Though I will warn, they are Tomes to say the least. Each book is over 1000+ pages, and audiobooks of upwards of 45-55hrs. But it's super worth it. I'd also suggest the Mistborn Serise, specifically the First trilogy focused on Vin. Real good series too.

Love Gaiman too. Especially American Gods and Good Omens.

If I don't consider myself a lady, does that automatically make me part of the "lovely" category?

Welcome to the site! Sounds like we have a lot in common (e.g. roleplaying elements, A:TLA, Witcher, and Dragon Age). Hope to see some of your work around Umbra, you're bound to find a few others who share similar leanings.

Hello there, new person! Welcome to the site! I am new as well, and everyone here seems to be really friendly! You say you like romance stuff, huh? Well, I've been looking for someone for some ideas for romance-driven RP's for a little while now, if you're interested. I'm looking for female characters, currently.
Maybe, hit me up with a PM about the concept and we will see if it will work out. Sound good?
