Exactly as the title says i'm looking for someone to rp a male human for a Werewolf x Human rp.Before I can explain the plot I must first explain a bit about the world in which this rp will take place in.In this world there are werewolves and there are wolven. My character is a wolfen but I put werewolf in the title because I figured that anybody reading the title wouldn't know what a wolfen is and therefore might not be interested in the rp when they otherwise would be.Anyways there are huge differences between werewolves and wolfven and both species would be insulted to be confused for the other species.Though with a werewolf it'd be more insulted but also like "I fucking wish I was a wolfen" because werewolves see wolven as having it better than them which they're not wrong.
The biggest difference between wolven and werewolves is how they're made.Wolven can only be born whereas as werewolves can come about through either having been cursed or scratched/bitten/having ingested werewolf blood (or you could do a blood transplant.Thta would work too and be less gross) or another werewolf bodily fluid that I don't want to say what it is because in my opinion it's grosser than injesting blood so all i'm going to say is it's typically yellow. If it's not yellow that's cause for concern. Also a bit of a clarification on the scratched/bitten bit.The scratch only causes you to become a werewolf if the werewolf who scratched you draws blood. As for the biting part it's the saliva that causes the transformation and werewolf saliva for some reason only has the virus that causes the transformation present during a full moon while the werewolf is fully shifted. So if you have a werewolf boo that you're kissing when it's not the full moon don't worry about being turned because it's not going to happen.Though for the sake of safety and being cautious you should probably avoid kissing your boo in the days before the full moon, during the full moon, and the days after the full moon.
Speaking of the full moon that's another difference between werewolves and wolven is how the full moon affects them. For a wolven it just fills them with a lot of energy and they're not forced to transform but they typically choose to because being in their wolf form and running through the woods and hunting and chasing and playing with pack members is a fantastic way to burn off all that excess energy. They are also in full control of themselves and their actions.Whereas with werewolves they are not in control of themselves.During the full moon they are forced to transform and are driven by their heightened instincts.Their instincts being to hunt and kill and transform others so that there are more of them.Werewolves can normally ignore these instincts if they so choose when there's not a full moon but during a full moon they simply can't ignore them.So if a werewolf doesn't want to hunt or kill or transform others they find a way to contain themselves. They also typically enlist at least one friend who knows what they are to help keep them contained and cared for for the entirety of a full moon which can actually last about three days. They detransform during the day but their instincts are still heightened so they have to stay chained up and contained while their friend(s) bring them food and water.
Werewolves are typically solitary or they come in pairs (With pairs the individuals are usually either related or have a relationship of a romantic and or sexual nature) and there are a lot of reasons for this. One of the biggest ones is that there are already so few werewolves left in the world (Rougly 50-75 whereas there are about 200-300 wolven) so to have more than 1 or 2 gather in one place during a full moon would be rather bad as it could result in a blood bath between them which would result in less werewolves. So they try to avoid having more than 1 or 2 werewolves in a single place.Werewolves also typically live among humans passing themselves off as humans. This makes them harder for Hunters* to hunt as passing themselves off as human means they have friends, family, coworkers, classmates, etc. that would notice if they went missing with zero explanation and would be even more suspicious if they know that the missing person is a werewolf which could attract trouble and unwanted attention for Hunters.Wolven are more soical and tend to form packs with dynamics like those of a real wolf pack.Wolven also typically live in the woods passing themselves off as normal wild wolves and don't typically interact with humans (Unless like they're apart of the wolven packs that live in places like Yellowstone national park where wolves are protected and monitered to help boost wolf populations. Then they interact with the reasearchers there to keep their cover of being normal wild wolves). This makes them easier for Hunters to hunt as who's going to notice a wolf going missing in the local woods? Also another thing I should mention is that if a wolfen is on it's own there are two main reasons for that.Number 1 being that they were exiled/banished from their pack which would only happen if they committed an unforgivable act like say murdering the alpha of their pack.Unless it's found that the alpha was a jackass who didn't have the pack's best interests at heart and it was better for the pack to have the alpha murdered than for the alpha to have stuck around. In which case the wolfen that murdered the alpha would be forgiven and not exiled/banished.The second reason a wolfen might be on it's own is because they chose to leave their pack for a lot of the same reasons that a human might leave their family and cut off communication with them.Such as their family/pack was toxic and abusive and it was better for their mental and likely physical health to leave their family/pack behind than to keep them in their life.
I was going to put this bit in parentheses but it would have made this spoiler too long so i'm putting this bit in a different spoiler instead.Like when an author wants to make a not on something in a book and just an aterisk (*) next to a word and then you look at the bottom of the page and there's the note they wanted to make.Anyways there's a huge difference between Hunters with a capital H and hunters with a lower case h.Hunters with a capital H are humans that are aware of the supernatural world and believe that supernatural creatures are the incarnation of evil and need to be wiped off the face of the planet.Hunters can either be solitary or work for/with and Orginazation.Orginizations are well exacty what they sound like.An Organization of Hunters. Each Organization specializes in hunting a different supernatural species. So there's one Organization for the fae/fair folk, one for vampires, one for demons, etc.Werewolves and wolven are grouped together for an Organization as there aren't enough werewolves left in the world to warrant dedicating an entire Organization to hunting just them.hunters with a lowerscase h are normal humans that are not aware of the supernatural world at all or at least if they are aware of it they don't share the same beliefs as hunters and they just hunt wild game and stuff like that.
Werewolves look almost exactly as you would expect them to.Like a typical werewolf but more humane.Like less monstrous.Obviously not human but not quite animal either. So kind of like this.Wolven just look like normal wolves but noticeably bigger and with glowing eyes.Though like with a glowstick it's difficult to tell in daylight if a wolfen's eyes are glowing or not. Also every wolven looks like a different species of normal wolves. So there are wolven that look like gray wolves, wolven that look like tundra wolves, wolven that look maned wolves (Which actually aren't true wolves and are more closely related to forest foxes and bush dogs),wolven that look like mexican wolves, etc.Wolven that look like a certain species tend to group together to from a pack.So wolven that look like gray wolves will form a pack.Wolven that look like mexican wolves will form a pack, wolven that look like tundra wolves will form a pack, etc. Also one last thing that doesn't have anything to do with physical appearances. If you were confused while reading through all of this as to why I kept switching between werewolves/wolven and werewolf/wolfen the answer is that werewolves/wolven is plural and werewolf/wolfen is singular.
The plot is that your character is a Hunter that works for an Organization for werewolves/wolven.My character Nikolai,Niko for short, is a wolfen and the son of the alpha of the local pack that has eluded the Organization your character works for for years. In order for your character to complete their training and go from a junior Hunter to a fully fledged Hunter they have to complete an individual mission that is designed to test their specific strengths and weaknesses. The mission they are assigned is to capture and bring in the alpha (Alive but not necessarily unharmed *wink wink*) so that way the Organization can use him to lure the rest of the pack in.Unfortunately for Niko he looks quite a bit like his father Ronan and so your character confuses him for Ronan and mangaes to capture Niko and brings him in instead. The Organization fails to notice the mistake.Over the course of the next couple of months (I'm thinking somewhere between 3-6 months) that Niko is stuck at the headquarters for this particular Organization he has quite a bit of interaction with your character as once Niko was captured the Elders (Who are retired Hunters that act as teachers to the next generation of Hunters and they decide what missions and tests to give non-fully fledged Hunters to complete stages of their training) realized that there was going to need to be someone to keep Niko alive until they managed to lure the pack in.The Elders go to the Council (Who's members are of higher rank than Elders and who decide what missions to assign to fully fledged Hunters, distribute resources, and essentially keep the whole Organization up and running smoothly) to discuss who it should be that should have take to keep Niko alive. It's decided that since your character captured him it would only make sense for them to take care of Niko (Also the Organization hates anyone not born into one of the Hunter families that have worked with the Organization for generations cause you know they're elitist like that and so while they can't deny your character training as they need as many Hunters as they can get they can make their life difficult and try their best to discourage them from staying there.Assigning your character,a now fully fledged Hunter since they completed their mission, a task worthy of a low level trainee as their first offical mission as a fully fledged Hunter is quite the insult but regardless of the insult your character is stubborn and refuses to let the Council and Elders win so they stay and fulfill their task).Through their interactions over the next few months they both realize that maybe their preconceived ideas of each other and what they are aren't actually true.Niko starts to realize that perhaps Hunters or at least your character specifically (Who's like nice to him when caring for him and by nice I mean your character doesn't hurt him (At least not intentionally) and when caring for Niko's wounds that they inflicted they don't use more force than necessary to get him to cooperate and take his medicine and,in the early days when Niko refused to eat because he would rather die of starvation than be the reason his pack got captured and killed, force feed him) aren't as bad as he was raised to believe.Niko also starts to realize that a lot of the Hunters that there are have been brainwashed into believing what they do since they were young (About 80% have been brainwashed while the other 20% are just like that and didn't need to be brainwashed and that 20% are rich bigoted assholes who control everything to do with the Organizations and keep the other 80% brainwashed so they'll do what the 20% are too lazy and pompous to do) and if any of them deviate and shown any sign of breaking that brainwashing they'll be taken and re-brainwashed through horrible cruel means.Your character begins to realize that what they've been raised to believe (That wolven and werewolves are horrible bloodthirsty monsters that are also dumb as a bag of rocks and can't understand human speech or even speak it in their human-like forms) isn't true through a lot of little moments with Niko that just prove time and again that Niko is kind and wonderful and can understand them and isn't bloodthirsty but your character stays in denial about those thoughts and shoves them down ignoring them. They can't ignore those thoughts anymore though after what happens the night Niko attempts to escape and return to the wild. The night that Niko attempts to escape there's a full moon and a blackout. The blackout part is important because the way that werewolves and wolven are kept contained is via an invisibile wall run on electricity that should any creatures cross it the collar around their necks will deilver a large enough shock to either temporarily paralyze them or outright kill them depending on what level the collar is set at and because of the blackout none of that works anymore.Niko, along with many others, uses the blackout as a chance to escape but as he's leaving he sees your character about to be torn to shreds by a werewolf and decides to put himself between the two risking his freedom to save your character's life. After Niko kills the werewolf and gains some new injuries in the process he runs off (or rather he limps off as fast as he can) leaving your character in shock as to what just happened (What just happened being that Nikolai completely shattered your character's belief system by saving their life and then not taking the chance to kill them and now they're questioning everything they've ever believed and not ignoring those doubtful thoughts this time).Unfortunately Niko doesn't manage to get away and is caught. After the blackout the Council decides that with it having been months since Nikolai had been brought in and there being no sign of his pack coming that it was time for Nikolai to be executed. They schedule his execution for the day after the full moon ends so two days after the blackout.Your character is informed of this and decides that while they're still having a crisis and still aren't sure what they believe when it comes to supernatural creatures they at least know that Nikolai saved their life and that is a debt that must be repaid. So your character helps Nikolai to escape before he gets executed. We'll rp this all out and then after your character helps Niko escape we'll just make it up as we go along and something I meant to mention but didn't know how to was that the entire time all of this was happening Nikolai and your character were developing romantic feelings for each other and that's one of the reasons that your character shoved those doubtful thoughts about their beliefs down and away because if they hadn't they would have had to confront their growing feelings for Nikolai and they just were not ready to do that at all.
I would like for your character to be male-presenting meaning they look masculine but that doesn't necessarily mean that they dress masculine or use masculine pronouns or even consider themselves to be male.It could mean that they present as masculine and use masculine pronouns and consider themselves male or it could mean that they present as masculine but use gender neutral pronouns or neo pronouns or it could even mean that they're like Juno Steel from The Penumbra Podcast and they present as masculine and use masculine pronouns but often refer to themselves as a lady or when in a relationship (or pretending to be in one) they refer to themselves as the other person's wife or girlfriend and are comfortable wearing traditionally feminine clothing and makeup. Also I'm sorry about how long the plot spoiler is and I would break it down into paragraphs to make it easier to read but I have no idea where to split it up so I'm just going to leave it as is.
