Hello everyone, my name is Mayim and I am your odd next door neighbor. Let's see, what did it say about introductions? Ah yes, my writing style is third person past tense, my favorite genres are romantasy and comedy, my pet's names are Nurgle, Slaanesh, Tzeentch, and Boone, and as for my most embarrassing childhood story... Well, I am neurodivergent so it is difficult for me to choose just one incident as the 'most' embarrassing. I am sure my fellow NDs will get it.
So, about me! I am in my mid thirties, married andprobably pretty awkward. I love spooky things, I love cute things, and I have a wealth of useless knowledge that has earned me a nickname at work beginning with 'Discovery'-- as in the Discovery Channel. It's a whole thing. Speaking of work, I am a non-clinical professional in the world of medicine, so gore and ick do not bother me in the least. I am also fairly busy and my most active time for writing is evenings (EST) and the weekend!
I have been writing and roleplaying since middle school, so ... for literal decades, and I have not tired of it yet so here we are!
Some of my favorite tropes (or is it 'cliches'?) include:
- ETL; especially I Can't Decide If I Want To Punch You or Kiss You
- There's Only One Bed in the Entire Inn
- Anti Heroes and Other Morally Gray Heartthrobs
- Seriously, There is Only One Bed, You Can Sleep on the Floor
I don't take my posting too seriously so you will probably pick up on a comedic undertone occasionally, but I can also vibe with the serious and nitty gritty. I am not afraid of the dark, and nor should you be if you want to write with me. ♡
For romantic pairings I am all for MxM, FxM, FxF, NBxCrush, and any/all else. I can write tops, I can write bottoms, I can write yandere switches that followed you home. Seriously--try me. Also: Monsters and Shadow Daddies? Check. Modern Humans with Mobile Phones and Instagram? Check. Nameless Genderless Gods to worship the ground YOU walk on? Check.
There's very little I will not enjoy writing, so throw something at me and let's see if we can have the time of our lives!
