Answered/Resolved regarding content

the rules state to refrain from any bigoted speech, which i completely agree with, but i have to ask if that applies to in character roleplay.

for example, i'm a lesbian. i write lesbians. the world isn't always kind to lesbians. is covering that against the rules? and the same matter for kinks. if i want to include orientation play in a rp, is that disallowed?

Hi there - covering the discrimination/mistreatment of a group is not against site rules. The rules are intended to protect users in communication with one another. No slurs of any kind are allowed on site, regardless of characterization, but you can talk about a character being treated poorly.

If both writers are in agreement with the discussed content, there are no slurs being utilized, and there is no encouragement of bigotry outside of the RP - those sorts of situations are alright. The moment either party states discomfort and requests stopping, the situation/story/communication is to stop without question.

Does that help clarify?
