  • Hi there Guest. As a reminder - when you are updating/editing your threads in the Requests areas - it is sent to our approval queue to be checked against our site rules. It will take about 24 hours to approve and post. Questions can be sent to Auntie Angel!
  • Hi there Guest! After every update - things are bound to be broken. We're no exception.
If you notice something is missing or not working properly, please use the Bug Report Form to make Rei aware of them. Even if you feel it may be user error or that it doesn't need to be brought to someone in admin. Do it. I assure you it will help leadership in the long run.

Potential bug with one RT disappearing after edit

I have 2 RTs, one each in Erotic and Plot-centered searches, that I updated in the last 24 hours. While I'm able to see the plot centered one in the list of threads on the forum (and I had a shield indicating it's under review, I can't see my erotic RT at all. Neither shows up in my watched threads either, even when I look under threads I've posted. I'm uncertain if this is a site bug or user error.

I'm currently using mobile, if that matters.

You won't be able to see them in the watched threads area, as that is public facing - but you should be able to see them directly from their own links.

Now - for the second part - the edit time does not matter for these items in order.

Items in these threads are ordered by bump time, not posting/editing/approving order.

Based on what I am seeing - since the site update that changed bumping processes, your erotic thread has not been bumped. This means that you haven't bumped your thread since April 2023 - and that means it is farther back in the list. Your non-erotic post was bumped this morning before your edit, which is why you are seeing it on the main page.

Please let me know if you can see the erotic thread by accessing this link: https://www.umbraroleplaying.com/in...-variety-of-plots-pairings-and-settings.6028/

If you can - everything is working properly, your work has not been bumped - but it will receive one when it's been finished being scanned and approved!
