Hello! I've been craving a power dynamic / enemies type of RP but decided to open the thread up for more ideas.

First and foremost: I AM NOT GHOST FRIENDLY. I'm very lenient on response time. I hope for one response a week but as long as you let me know I'm never opposed to potential partners taking more time. If you're not interested, then just tell me that and I won't ask questions.

The main points I want in a partner for any RP:
  • Dominant character type
  • Male character or willing to double (I'm currently craving FxM)
  • Responds at least once a week
  • Be innovative, share your ideas
  • No anime face claims please
  • Romance and smuttiness are greatly encouraged but I do appreciate a good plot firstly
  • 18+ years of age
  • Detailed responses (The details of the responses is what I appreciate and enjoy the most so I'd love if you could incorporate a lot of them to cause drama, set a scene or amp up the tension)

I usually:
-Respond in 3-4 paragraphs
-Adventurous (I love changing scenes in the RP)
-Will double up if I need to to keep the plot moving

Some ideas (but feel free to add or DM me any ideas of your own):
Muse A was once part of a long ancestry of witches. Their mother, as the heir to the leader of the coven, had fallen ill though and passed away. The throne was passed onto Muse A's aunt despite Muse A's disdain for them. The coven takes root in the middle of a town in giant mansion where all the members reside. A disastrous event takes place at the home and Muse A's aunt frames them for the happenings and thus expels them from the coven. Being cut off from their main supply of magic Muse A struggles to live on their own. The Right of Bearers is quickly approaching now; a yearly test between competitors of the coven to assign leadership. In an attempt to prepare and possibly even steal some magical relics for a boost, Muse A summons a demon, Muse B. The demon summoned however is stronger than they anticipated and they find it difficult to control them with very little magic at their disposal. Now they must send the demon back before something worse happens, but they'll need more power for that. Perhaps it'll have to wait until after the Right of Bearers?
Muse A was happily in love with her significant other. But every day he dabbled more and more into taboo magic and art that threatened their safety. One day Muse A's significant other changed completely, their body being taken over by someone else, Muse B. After discovering who has taken up residence in Muse A's significant other they figure out that the transformation isn't yet complete. Muse B needs their relic weapons to complete their transition into their new life and new body. Muse A can convince Muse B to hold out until they find a way to separate the two but the cry of Muse B's weapons grows stronger by the day. Muse B has been locked up for a long while as well and can't be sure that another chance like this will come again. What will happen on their adventure? Will people try to stop them?

(I plan for a long adventure with groups trying to kidnap Muse B and tap into the Godlike power, use them, etc. Muse A will have to protect them at some points depending on how much power is at Muse B's disposable! I plan to also play Muse A! If you really want to do this but don't have any ideas for a character I can tell you what the original plot is. I left out a lot of details to give possible partners lots of creative freedom but I did have an original plot in mind for a long time before bringing it to Black Dal.)
Everyone has a spirit guide. A creature with its own personality that follows them and guides them in their own way. They can only be seen by their human or if they choose to, can show themselves to others. The spirit guides have mutual partners, other spirits that they click with and are more powerful around. Musa A and Muse B just so happen to have spirit guides that are partners and can't stay away from each other; they're like magnets. Events keep happening to draw the spirits to each other. Both Muse a and Musa b have lives they need to attend to and can't keep bending to the wills of their spirit guides, what can they do to fix the spiritual handcuffs they've found themselves in?

(This needs a bit more plotting but I'd love to do that with a partner!)
Muse A was a princess of a vast, wealthy nation. Everything was peaceful and thriving until another nation attacked. In an attempt to save the last of their kingdom the queen ordered what was left of them to flee. They dispersed all around, settling into new areas and lives with new identities years later. Muse A lost her whole family and everyone she knew, now living as a traveler.
The kingdom that took over Muse A's nation is on the hunt for her to uncover the secrets hidden under the rubble. Muse B happens upon Muse A as she's detained by local authorities in a merchant town.

(I'd love to do some plotting with Muse B! I left it open for any partners to create their background and motivation for either believing Muse A , helping them or not!)
Musa A lives in a small, bustling town. Little do they know that the townspeople have been slaughtering local werewolf tribes in the area. They believe the werewolves are to be blamed for the deaths of their livestock and missing villagers. There is no proof that this is true and until now, the tribes in the area had been peaceful. They often traded with the villagers along the countryside and kept to themselves. Now they see the villagers as enemies for killing their kin and retaliate, creating a war between humans and wolves. Muse B is a werewolf of a local tribe and gets captured by Muse A. Musa A has to decide if they'll turn him into to be slaughtered or help them escape. Can Muse B show them the damage the villagers have caused to the tribes without falling under scrutiny from their own people?
Sci-Fi setting - Muse A and Muse B both work for the same company; FARGO Technologies. They weren't very well acquainted but in Fargo Tech no one really was. They were all hired to do a job and didn't get to intermingle very often. It had very strict regulations but paid better than anything a normal person had ever seen. All health expenses were taken care of at the company grounds, there were housing units specifically for company employees, everyone at the company had a very specific job. All of this may have seemed odd but it was quickly overlooked by the paycheck. No illegal activity was happening, at least from Muse A's perspective. They worked on various robotics, AI systems, and even the occasional cyber suits with many different variations and uses. Muse A was staying late one night to do some extra work when she noticed Muse B also still working. When she tried to strike up a conversation however she saw he was there for an entirely different reason. A shot rang out as she watched one of the lead researchers eat a 9 mm bullet. Muse A dropped all of her things and that's when Muse B noticed she had seen the whole assassination. Terrifying as it was, Muse A ran all the way home and never called the police. She hoped she had just been seeing things but reality struck when she walked into the work the next morning and the crime scene had been taped off. Then she knew it was real.... She locked eyes with Muse B wanting to know what had happened and why but unsure if pursuing the truth would end in a similar end as her colleague.
Sci-Fi setting II - Muse A and Muse B are both criminals. They've been caught and imprisoned for their crimes but an opportunity has presented itself. Dr. Lockhart, an scientist, has been given permission by their government to assign a team to explore a new planet they have uniquely named Zenus U5. It is completely unknown to them and they don't want to risk their highly esteemed intergalactic pioneers for the trip so they have extended the offer to those.... more expendable. Each criminal has been offered a deal if they finish the mission, special to everyone on the team. Their orders are to touch down on Zenus U5, collect as much data and resources as they can and return to Earth V2; their current home planet.
Arranged Marriage - Muse A is a princess of a lovely country and has run it with her mother and board of elders for quite some time. She had no plans in marrying even if she found someone she truly loved enough for it. She simply couldn't trust her beloved country in the hands of anyone else. This is all thrown into disarray when a prince from a far away country demands she marry him or else he'd simply take her country by force. Determined to find a solution they could both agree with, Muse A offers a deal: if she can't find a better bride for him in 2 months time then she will marry him. He accepted the deal, seeing no downside for himself, and Muse A set off but not without her most trusted guard Muse B. Together they must traverse the bandit filled territories into neighboring countries to find the prince's bride.
Arranged Plot II - Muse A is a princess of an influential kingdom known for bountiful harvests and rare crops. They thrive in a land of their own and many of it's inhabitants have rarer talents than ever seen before. Muse B is a king of another kingdom. His kingdom is very powerful, a war stricken one with many medals of honor for their brave adventures and conquered lands. Their people are known for unbeatable strength and pushing the boundaries one would think humanely possible. Muse B sees the potential Muse A's kingdom has to offer and strikes a deal with her: marry him and give his kingdom access to her land and what it offers or go to war.

(This is a pretty plain and simple plot)
Mafia Setting - Muse A is caught up in a whirlwind of life and death. She is an undercover police officer for the LAPD and her team had been investigating the family of Muse B; a giant mafia family who owned and ran most of the local businesses. Nothing ever stuck to them, charges were always dropped almost immediately by some magic wave of a hand. In many regards, they were untouchable. Their estate was heavily guarded and had it's own gated community. The LAPD needed a bread crumb, a trail, something to follow that would take them to evidence that would finally put the family away. They sent in Muse A and suddenly Muse B's family partners are being ousted. First one partner was arrested for money laundering, then another partner was arrested for underground sex trafficking. They were falling like dominoes and they began to put heat on Muse B as the leader of the family business. It was becoming clear there was a mole amongst his family or staff and his eye is on Muse A; the newly hired maid with a remarkably squeaky clean resume.

Kinks/Fetishes: CNC, Force, obsession, penetration, bondage, dominance, choking, masochism.
For some reason I can't explain men wearing black gloves - RIP to my tattoo artist, apologies boo (joking, joking)
We will not be required to do all of these or even half, but incorporating at least one would be nice <3

Hard pass: Humiliation, Dirty talk (I like dirty talk but in terms of what kind I prefer the princess treatment dirty talk so unless you plan to shower my characters with praises and 'good girls' then dirty talk is off the table), degradation, oral play (in some instances), any bodily fluids are a no (drool all over my characters' bodies, not in their mouths please, just not for me otherwise)

(Some writing samples or plot ideas - I used random names for each character)
The sheer force of the thrashing was enough to make Venus feel like she'd puke. The man thrashed against the floor sending shockwaves under her feet; a titan turned prey at the mercy of a demon's grip. The muscles of his forearm danced under his skin but his posture never moved. Solid and unwavering but slightly inching tighter. Venus's voice caught in her throat struggling for what words would make him stop. The man's face began to fade to a pale blue, his eyes fighting to keep him lucid through the lack of oxygen. Venus was in a panic, her gaze darting around the room for anyone to see her but everyone turned away as soon as her eyes met them. Her voice was barely a whisper, "P-Please, please someone! Someone help him!" Venus desperately reached out and grabbed a shoulder but they quickly pulled away. She reached for another but it resulted in the same manner. People backed away from her leaving a barren circle where she alone stood. Alone she felt the pressure. Venus then tried to barrel her way forward but two men stepped in her path. She ate an elbow quick and hard, knocking her back before she could catch herself. She felt her head hit the cold tile, sending her system into cacophony of cheers and hazy vision.
With shaking hands Venus stabled herself back on her feet. Blinking back pained tears she pleaded with anyone who would listen, "It was me! IT WAS ME! PLEASE!" Her voice broke and shattered what was left of her composure. The crowd around her cheered once more at her calmness rapidly spiraling into desperation. Venus reached out for the man only one arm making it past the demons blocking her path. She willed her hand to stretch to him, to save him somehow. She tried to squeeze between the men, tried to shove her way through but all was lost. She watched with a sinking stomach the pop and snap of the man's neck. All she could do was freeze as his head rolled off his shoulders, thudding to the floor with a sound much like taking a bite of watermelon. The sound, the moment, the cheers - it was all becoming ingrained in her memory.
Her face was beautiful, possibly the most beautiful Marielle had ever laid eyes on. She sat across from her, her eyes twinkling with curiosity. She was a replica of Audrey Hepburn with high cheekbones and silver hair. Her pale skin seemed to glow under her Victorian umbrella. She had a tight black dress on with an emerald that hung around her neck and a set a green eyes to match that blinked in wonder. She watched ever so intently and smiled gently before placing a hand on Marielle's.
"I usually wear pearls," she chuckled softly, "but Malak thinks they're tacky." Her pink tinted lips seemed to beacon a response but Marielle was frozen in either fear or surprise. The woman moved to pick up her porcelain teacup that was almost as pale as she was. The smell of lavender wafted into the space between them. The woman's eyes closed as she took a slow, long sip. The silence was suffocating but Marielle hadn't the slightest clue what to say. She realized how truly vulnerable she was. All her spells, all her charms meant nothing to Camille. She had tracked down the young witch in the matter of days.
"A little birdy told me you were looking for a way into tonight's ball," Her eyes narrowed and then winced in disapproval, "Little dangerous for a teenybopper like yourself, don't you think?"
Marielle merely squinted curiously at the old vampire, confused about the intention of her question. Was she trying to help or prod her? Help never came free and especially not from someone so renown. As if reading her mind Camille tossed a gloved hand back with a grin, "Please darling, I'm just trying to help. I'm not here to punish you." She took another sip, "In fact I think your presence at the ball may be just what Malak needs tonight. He's been so lonely without his play things as of late."
Marielle knew Camille was trying to insult her ego, a way of gaslighting her into an argument to justify the overwhelming desire to hurt her. But Marielle remained quiet. No longer out of fear but because she couldn't fathom exactly why Camille had been probing her.

"What does a hedge witch think will be of use to her at a heaven and hell ball, hmm?" She looked at Marielle expectantly. Marielle supposed it had sounded a bit ludicrous for a scrawny human to want to be squished between angels and demons in one place.

"I want to speak with Seleria." It wasn't a total lie but it was enough of a lie that Camille furrowed her brow quickly after it was said. Her eyes darkened from a soft, pastel green to a hauntingly sharp green. She collected herself and rose from her seat with a gracefulness that Marielle found hard to believe was real. The black umbrella held over her silver curls and her eyes settling down the human woman.

"Little lost cat," She hummed, "Whatever you're running toward isn't worth lying about sweetie. Do better."
Sometimes when she's alone he can reach her; his words. They echo through her head like ringing church bells void of any joy.

"Why are you so terrified of me, hmm?"

And she tries to ignore him, to convince herself that his words don't matter. The only thing that should matter is erasing him. But when he calls to her his voice crawls under her skin and she's forced to listen. She can't truly ignore him because no matter where she turns his voice follows.

"Oh, I understand now," his voice hummed.

She wasn't sick, she wasn't mentally ill. She needed help but no help the normal living could give her. She needed to find out why he chose to call out to her. She had lived her whole life in a blissful lie without him but now that he had reached out to her he was suddenly and single handedly the most important piece in her unfolding story.

"You're afraid of me because I have the power to destroy you. Everything you built, everything you are is in my hands. You no longer have control over me."

He had a knack for what he did. It wasn't just a job to him, weaseling into peoples' minds. It was a never ending series of puzzles that interesting secrets and solutions that made people unravel at the seams. The sheer utterance of his name brought even the mightiest of demons to their knees. He existed without laws and between physical boundaries that Kiara could understand as a mere human. He was immortal but still imperfect and that was enough to ground her.

"You're terrified I will destroy you and what's even scarier to you -- "

Nature was a beautiful thing and Kiara refused to believe Mother Nature would play a part in creating something without giving it a balance. There had to have been something out there made to be his equal, Kiara just had to find it. He was imperfect, as was everything.

"-- you're afraid you'll enjoy it. You're so damaged that the prospect of being able to blame someone else for your own downfall; for it not to be your fault is just too tempting. I don't scare you nearly as much as you scare yourself."
He was sinful perfection and humanity's biggest and strongest predator. Everything he was and every skill he possessed was designed for his survival because if he didn't survive there be eternal imbalance. He was an arm on the grandfather clock of humanity, heaven and demon kind. He existed so everyone else could exist too. What was it like? Being bred to do the dirty job of life while others received the praise.
He flashed a smile to her, his canines prominently shaping his sneer. He took a sip from his beer bottle before setting it back down on the table beside him. The room was more lit than The Cove. Red curtains and carpet dressed the room with a big, round table in the center. There were claw marks, blood stains and scratches littering it but it didn't look like anyone had been there recently. The girl's nerves had all but worn themselves ragged and she found herself too exhausted to worry about her safety.
He stretched his arms before her, motioning for her to take a seat across from him. The girl's head was pounding from the flashing lights and heavy bass of the previous room so she took his offer. She slouched down into the cushioned armchair, a sigh escaping her lips as her nerves relaxed. She was eerily aware how easily she could disappear at the moment tucked away in this back room. How quickly he could dispose of her like she never existed. It served to bring back all her anxieties once more.
"Technically," Cassiel licked his top lip absent mindedly, "She swore an oath and thus an agreement was made. She belongs to us now." He crossed his arms over his chest defiantly, "Unless of course you can fight me and win." His gaze didn't waver from the angel's. Neither of them were strong in this environment, surrounded by flocks of their comrades. But for all Linette knew it would be hours before either of them keeled over from exhaustion.

She had screwed up and she could see just how much on Gabriel's face. His jaw tensed as he stepped up to the demon, "Don't do this." The glare in his eyes was menacing, "Leave the humans out of our petty squabbles." The room has grown so quiet that the only audible noise were the shadows dancing to life by Cassiel's shoulders with a haunting tune. He chuckled so low it was nearly a growl.

"Bite me silver spoon wh***," His smile glinted sharp canines before turning his back on Gabriel. Like a wolf taunting his prey, Cassiel waited for a retaliation that Linette doubted would come.
