Discussion is anyone alive and if so what are you doing?

Making an introduction and Request thread would help get you started and if you join the site discord.
Definitely making an intro and a request thread for roleplays. You can make one in each of our sections, erotic and plot based roleplays. We're not necessarily the busiest site out there, but we tend to be more active on the discord in terms of chatting. A lot of people use the site mostly for its purpose to create and write roleplays. We don't use the discord to conduct any roleplays or ask for any, but we do have a general chat area to just talk.
Just know the site will be going down next Monday for roughly an entire week while we do some upgrading, so the most relevant info available will be in the site discord, provided from our staff.

I echo what my fellow site members say! Definitely creating an intro and request thread and being active as much as you can here on the site will be wonderful for you.
I was one of the first members of Umbra back in 2019 and have found that so many people on the site have been so kind and respectful and I have had nothing but positive experiences.
As of a few months ago, I have started to get more active on Discord so I will definitely join in. My plan for 2023 (New Year's Resolution if you will) will be to be more active and to make a difference with the kindness, respect and writing that I take part in!

XD I can understand why you'd think the site is dead, never realised myself just how much of the communicating is done through discord or PMs. Thank you for pointing it out, though, gonna take this to the admins and see if we should do something about it! If you have any ideas how to make us seem more... alive? Active? Please! We appreciate any and all ideas.
