Discussion Did you successfully adult today? If so, how?

Here's a place where we can share our successful adulting stories. I'd love to read them and have you guys cheer each other on as we adult our way through life.

So, I will start us off...

Today, I did two loads of laundry, folded them, and even placed them in their appropriate areas! ^^

Today I did a run to the bank, did the grocery shopping, cleaned the apartment and didn't squeal after my Mistress wife tied and gagged me

I accepted a job offer that was twice the salary of my last job in the US.

I attended my first meeting with a therapist to address my wonderful anxiety issues.

I cleaned!
And I'm about to tackle my weird hoard of stuff I have nothing to do with.

I blew shit up, and threw so many frags, I lost count. Hugs & Kisses, Iron Bear! Headshots were quite popular, too.

And then I balanced my checkbook. yawn. . .

I do a lot everyday even on the weekends.


Vacuumed. Did laundry. Took care of pets. Made sure the house is organized. Made bed.

I got up early this morning to do laundry and even managed to put the clothes up! #accomplished

I paid my bills for June in advance so I wouldn't have to worry about it later.

I went and bought groceries and stuck to my list!

I existed in the same room as strangers for extended period of time.

I did not today, but I did on Friday!
Started a whole process in adulting. A potential new chapter for me. If it all works out.

(I'm aiming not to say too much to avoid jinxing it.)

I don't know if this counts, but, today I finally managed to cook a pasta using vodka without it tasting strange. Go, me! Oh, and I washed my face without being scared of someone invading my bathroom.

Finished my school work for the week, cleaned my house, made lunch and dinner instead of ordering take out, kept my offspring alive.

Slept in. Did NOT have another senior moment and rush off to work on a Saturday. Did NOT set my alarm clock to wake me up to rush off to work on a Sunday, thus avoiding another senior moment. Daydreamed about retirement.

Oh ... and finally washed the dirty dishes that were piling up - after walking past them and procrastinating for several hours. Yay me? (Well, I was getting hungry and needed something clean to use.)

It’s my day off so no lol no adulting until tomorrow

Does going to work count? LOL I still need to submit my RRSP thingy for taxes... which I will do tomorrow, I promise!!! I also bought lizard food for my lizard, and colouring books (dog chews) for my puppie.
