As 2022 comes to an end, I just want to take some time to reflect on the year. For me, I am a recovering stroke patient. I have balance issues and am a fall risk, but I am still here. I am still kicking. I have been one year safe of no relapse from it.
I also left a very toxic work environment that nearly destroyed my mental health. I was a news producer and dealt with so many problems, but mostly a difficult place where work was full of toxicity from my fellow employees.
I am so excited for a new beginning for myself in January 2023 as I am starting a new position from home and it leaves me great opportunities to remain healthy and strong but also keep up my RP commitments and my commitments to the ste.
My promise to all of you in the wonderful Umbra community is that I will always be an active member of the site and that I will always be able to write amazing stories and be that shining light. My grandmother taught me to always be that way and that is what I live for.
This is a wonderful place and I am grateful to be here. I can't wait to see what 2023 has in store for us!
